As an original "Coburger", we are closely linked to our main location and the region ever since we were established half a century ago. We are therefore aware of our social responsibility and are actively committed in a great variety of sport, education and social projects with a clear focus on sustainability.
We support ambitious sports clubs, create new opportunities by working with schools, universities and retraining courses. We are committed to those who really need help and where help is most worthwhile.
Top-class and amateur sport
As a sports partner, we support young talents and teams along their road to success – one of them being the ice hockey upper-league team "Selber Wölfe", which we support in their mission to join the German Ice Hockey League 2 (DEL 2). The Upper Frankonians are the pride of a region rediscovering itself, as well as a magnet for thousands of enthusiastic fans in the preliminary round and playoff home games. At the same time we promote the club's goal VER Selb e.V. by making investments in the club's own junior and division activities.

No, we are not talking about soccer. It's about American football! The fact that this sport is becoming more and more popular in this country is shown by the fact that there are now two teams in Coburg alone that pursue this passion. The Black Dukes are one of them. GAUDLITZ is again supporting the regional sport, which is currently receiving enormous attention, and is sponsoring it.

Training
We invest in new opportunities and qualifications.
As part of our training engagement, we closely collaborate with regional schools, the University of Coburg and the Management Institute of the Technical University of Nuremberg, in order to give new opportunities to young people by opening doors and providing the optimal prerequisites for undergoing high-quality training. Also important to us here is the working out of new concepts – together with students – for supporting the retraining projects of Berufsförderwerk (Professional Development Agency) Nuremberg and regular incorporation of candidates in our works.

Helping those in our society who are in need
For many years now we have been supporting various social institutions, projects and relief organisations with a scheduled donations budget. For instance, there is the "Foundation for Children of Coburg suffering from cancer" – an organisation for children and their families that not only provides medical help, but also provides counselling and supports them with projects for improving their chances of healing and life quality.
