Coburg. Since 09/01/2017, Reiner Leifhelm is the new CFO of the GAUDLITZ GmbH and is responsible for the Departments Purchasing, Logistics, Finance, Controlling and IT as a central function for the entire Group.
Born in the North Rhine-Westphalian city Marl, the 57-year-old passionate MBA graduate started his career as an Officer in the German Armed Forces. In 1992, he switched into the industry to join REHAU AG + Co in the Upper Franconian city Rehau. In more than 20 years, he climbed the corporate ladder in numerous positions nationally as well as internationally. Among others as a Controlling Manager in England and six and a half years as the CFO North America in the US. After his last position as a CFO of the Automotive Division, he left the company to join the French automotive supplier Faurecia. Where he took on the responsibility as a Global Business Unit Controller of the Division Clean Mobility for the customers VW, Daimler and BMW.
After three years in Augsburg, Reiner Leifhelm moved back to his second home:
“I wanted to come back to Upper Franconia and realize my desired career goal: a position as a CFO of a Small Medium Enterprise.”
When Group CEO Niels Roelofsen offered him the position to hop on the GAUDLITZ express, Reiner Leifhelm did not hesitate for a second: “Working in the international automotive supplier business has become a real passion over the years.
