From January 1, 2011 GAUDLITZ Precision Technology Wuxi (China) will supply a big medical customer, which we delivered until now out of Coburg, with high-precision plastic parts out of China. For our location in Wuxi this is a big chance to take root within this growing business as Chinese supplier. Within this project our experts in Wuxi install the pad printing and extend their know-how in the area of complex assembly lines. In total there are 10 molds which start running until the end of the year at our plant in China. For our production in Wuxi, this is not the first medical product, but it is a further step in order to strengthen its position as supplier of this branch. To fulfill the requirements of the health-care – industry at our plant in China, the ISO 13485 certification, as important element, has already been initiated. Another part of the extension of this business unit is the installation of a clean room.
