This year, TecPart, the Association of Technical Plastic Products, awarded the TecPart Innovation Prize for the fifteenth time. Gaudlitz received an excellence award in the area of technical performance for a product development done for their customer Continental. Since Gaudlitz began attending the trade fair, the company has succeeded in bringing a prize back to Coburg every three years. Within the overall context of this project, the development of anumeric optimisation tool for the correction of the individual teeth of a non-circular involute toothing, proved to be the decisive factor in Gaudlitz receiving the prize this year. This work was done in conjunction with the KISSSOFT company.
By means of an equally-new interactive optimisation software, the company was also able to meet the high demands for gear toothing quality set down in the customer specification sheet and to match the gear tooth parts very exactly to one another. The 2010 K-Trade Fair was once again an event which demanded our presence and at which many contacts were established that will allow the company the chance of finding new business. In addition to receiving the K-Prize, Gaudlitz was simultaneously honoured for its membership of the TecPart Association, a membership that goes back 60 years.
The Coburg injection molding company is one of the few companies that make it possible for its trainees to attend this important trade event and to get to know the field of plastic processing even better. This constitutes one of the elementary parts of a worker's training at the company.We are also anxious to give the young people a better understanding of their trade beyond the walls of the company and this is something which appeals greatly to the young Gaudlitz workers.
